As of today, I officially have a full time job. I got the call from the clinic that I interviewed with last Thursday (the clinic I really wanted to get an offer from) offering me a job!! I, of course, accepted it and will be starting sometime in the next week or two!!! And I’ll just say that she said she loved my interview and that all my references could not have said nicer things about me…..so I’m feeling a lot better in the personality department! 🙂
My name is Candice and I am the creator of the two blogs, the Life of a DPT Student and the Life of a New Grad Physical Therapist. My blogging days began in the months leading up to physical therapy school in 2012, where the fear of facing cadavers sent me into a downward spiral of a panic disorder. The Life of a DPT Student set out to prove to others that panic disorders, cadavers, and physical therapy school are all conquerable. In August of 2015, I graduated from PT school and began the search for a job which ultimately landed me in a full-time position in an outpatient ortho clinic. The Life of a New Grad PT is currently an active blog that follows me in my new journey as new grad PT. It is my hope that wherever you are in life and whatever obstacles you may be facing, you find some of the answers you need in either of these two blogs.
